Welcome to the VanCore Toastmaster’s Club website. The members of VanCore meet every Wednesday in a boardroom setting, graciously provided by the Association of Mineral Exploration of BC (AME-BC), to improve their communications and leadership skills through practical application.

We believe that the best way to get better at something that makes you nervous, and get to a point where it is actually enjoyable, is to “Just Do It!” By following Toastmaster’s easy-to-use/time tested program, anyone can improve their public speaking skills and feel comfortable talking in front of a group.

We all start out being nervous and uncomfortable when we try something new. VanCore provides a very safe and supportive forum to cut your teeth presenting to groups, whether it is for a marketing presentation for work, a toast for an upcoming wedding, or just a general desire to improve your communications ability.
Leadership training from the best
Every Toastmaster’s meeting provides members with an opportunity to take on new challenges, from taking on an club executive role, to leading a meeting or conducting an educational session on a specific topic. The benefits gained from leading within a Toastmaster’s club are enhanced by the wide variety of Leadership materials and tools provided by Toastmaster’s International and the immediate feedback gained from the “on-the-spot” evaluations provided by other club members
